There are 13 wonderful tracks from the series in the CD. This music was only used in the Trimark dub. Diccolo-420 decided to rescore Kai and TFC with the "Faulconer Productions" score, famously used during the Funimation dub of Dragon Ball Z. Due to Yamamoto's score not being officially available in it's entirety in the west, some users felt a demand for a rescore that encompassed all of Kai and Kai TFC. The result was fairly mixed in the fandom, some viewing it as inferior to the Yamamoto score, even if they enjoyed the Kikuchi score in Dragon Ball Z.īecause the dub for Kai is in 5.1 audio, people can remove the music and create rescores. Toei's solution was a massive hack-job of Kikuchi music, hastily reusing tracks they had. The last 3 episodes of Kai hadn't even aired in Japan yet, and Toei had to quickly scrap his music for subsequent episodes. Following the discovery of his extensive plagiarism during his tenure on the franchise, he was fired.
